Watercolor is my original painting medium and I am still taken with how just a little paint can imply so much depth and texture.

Gouache is a thicker pigment that allows colors from the background to barely peer through. The depth you can create in a piece through the use of layers and colors make it a favorite of mine.

Few things are as satisfying as pulling the thick pigment across canvas like beautiful, formidable frosting.
