"Red Pines"

These pine trees, illustrated in shades of red and pink and detailed with pen, represent a beloved stand of trees my brother and I explored during childhood. Inside the pines was a space filled with soft, dry pine needles. We named it ‘Caterpillar Village’ due to the large number of Woolly Bear caterpillars we were careful to not step on.
