I am always looking make an impact with my art; just not the negative ecological impact that paint often presents. Some colors of paint are made of toxic, heavy metals. Traditional oil paints are used with toxic solvents. Acrylic paint, when washed from palettes or brushes, contributes to microplastics in the waterways.

To minimize my own negative impact on the environment, I make these abstract designs that I call leftovers.
